Assistance to the Mobile World Congress

A total of eleven andalusian companies and research groups participate in the Mobile World Congress which will be celebrated tomorrow in Barcelona. This event is organized by the public company CITAndalucia which depends of the Ministry Economy, Innovation and Science. This company has provided a technical assistance to those eleven companies like a partner of the European Services Center to Andalusian Companies. It helps them to take part in the International Technology Cooperation meetings organized by the Enterprise Europe Network that take place at the same as the Congress is.

The companies which participate in that Congress are: Accesibilidad a través de las TIC (Jaén), Biestable (Jaén), Bravo Games (Sevilla), Cluster A (Málaga), E-MACMAS (Sevilla), Genera Mobile Solutions (Sevilla), INDISYS (Sevilla) y Geographica (Sevilla). In addition, it also involves some research groups like Grupo Gisum and Grupo de Ingeniería de las Comunicaciones from the University of Malaga and Grupo de Teoría de la Señal, Telemática y Comunicaciones from the University of Granada.

Throughout the three days of work Andalusian entities have the opportunity to meet with companies, universities, technology centers, government or other organizations, mainly from Europe. The aim of those meetings is to promote their technologies, detect innovative technologies or find new partners to develop together some R + D projects in the field of the mobile technologies.

All the entities come to the event with a closed meeting agenda and it has been setting based on the technology profiles offered and / or defendants. Among the entities with they will meet are Telefónica R+D, Abertis Telecom, Orange Business Solutions, ATOS Origin, Instituto Fraunhofer o el Centro TIC de Goteborg.
