SECURITY POLICY Given that the information used is a valuable resource, Biestable has established an Administration Security System of the Information in agreement with the standard ISO/IEC 27001:2005, to guarantee the continuity of the information system, minimizing the risk of damage and assuring the performance of the fixed objectives. The objective of the Security Policy is to provide the necessary framework to protect information resources against threats, internal or external, accidental or deliberate, with the purpose of assuring confidentiality, integrity and availability of the information. The efficiency and application of the Administration Security System of the Information is a direct responsibility of the Security Committee of Information which is responsible for the approval, diffusion and performance of the present Security Policy. In its name and its representation, the Committee has appointed a representative of the Administration Security System of Information, who has sufficient authority to carry out an active role in the Administration Security System of Information, supervising the implementation, development and maintenance. The Security Committee of Information will develop and approve the analysis of the risks used by the Administration Security System of Information. Any people whose activity can be affected (directly or indirectly) by the requirements of the Administration Security System of Information, must act in compliance with the Security Policy. Biestable will introduce all the necessary measures to the applicable subject in general security and computer security, related to computer policy, building and installations security and the behavior of the employees using the computer systems. The necessary measures to guarantee the security of information through applying the rules, controls and procedures should permit to assure the confidentiality, integrity, availability of the information, essential to: >Carry out the current law of information systems. >Assure the confidentiality of the data administrated by Biestable. >Assure the availability of the information systems in the services offered to its clients and also for its internal administration. >Avoid improper alterations in the information. >Assure response in emergency situations, ensuring the running of critical services in the least time possible. >Promote the awareness and formation of the information security.
